Turku Science Park

I’ve been working for 25+ years with science and tech ventures of different sizes and ages before landing into my current position as the growth advisor. I have M.Sc. in Physics and MBA in management and leadership. I’ve been developing, marketing, selling, buying, negotiating, managing projects, programs, products and people. So if you have a tech venture in your hands with strong focus on international markets I can help you and if your business is scalable but just about to start I’m happy to tell you about the acceleration programs we have at the Turku Science Park.

I have worked as a business developer for close to 20 years. Along the way I have co-founded three companies, but I have no formal ties on any tech companies today, so I can share the entrepreneur’s viewpoint from objective and neutral grounds. As a business developer I have been involved in building several growth programmes and other services for startups and businesses aiming for fast growth. Creating customer value and effective scalable business models, increasing investment readiness, and building networks for strategic purposes are the things which make me tick.

My educational background higher university degree in Sciences’ (ICT) from Åbo Akademi University and an electrician. I’ve been an entrepreneur in the ICT sector for over 25 years and joined Turku Science Park Ltd in December 2017. I have also more than ten years in the entrepreneur organization which included vice chairman of Turku Entrepreneurs, a member of Southwest Finland and Finnish entrepreneurs of the Board and Chairman of the national Swedish Network well as a board member of Finnish Enterprises.

I work as a Senior project specialist in the Clean Turku Team. In my job I give support to companies in all Cleantech related topics (including materials, processes, energy solutions an environment technologies). I also participate in facilitating networks around the above topics. I also support the activities within the Smart Chemistry Park cluster. I have along industrial background from different types of industries in an international b-to-b environment. I have experience from R&D and product development, commercialization, sales, marketing, strategy and project management.
