I’ve been working for 25+ years with science and tech ventures of different sizes and ages before landing into my current position as the growth advisor. I have M.Sc. in Physics and MBA in management and leadership. I’ve been developing, marketing, selling, buying, negotiating, managing projects, programs, products and people. As a Growth Advisor and mentor, I help companies in their growth and internationalization efforts. I have led several projects aimed at improving companies’ competitiveness in both domestic and international business environments. Currently, I run the Northbound Scaleups project, which helps scaling companies in Finland, Sweden, and Estonia expand into international markets. I have extensive networks and 18 years of experience in helping companies of all sizes and across various industries. I’m advising in public funding and investment readiness as well.

I have worked as a business developer for close to 20 years. Along the way I have co-founded three companies, but I have no formal ties on any tech companies today, so I can share the entrepreneur’s viewpoint from objective and neutral grounds. As a business developer I have been involved in building several growth programmes and other services for startups and businesses aiming for fast growth. Creating customer value and effective scalable business models, increasing investment readiness, and building networks for strategic purposes are the things which make me tick.
